I feel like there are so many threats out there and so many things going on in the news that no matter what crazy you hear, you're just kind of like, yeah, whatever. You know, I think if

[00:01:41] it came across the news tomorrow and said like aliens you heard one three years ago, about a school shooting. Now you're like, yeah, okay, I'm like, I don't know. I mean, I don't know, some are ridiculous like that whole Florida thing where the cops cower in fear, but we won't jump into that. That's not today's episode.

[00:03:00] But I guess I kind of have like a giant log list,

[00:03:05] but I kind of want to go into detail on some of it. Building that you know in my mind I keep thinking oh it's all got a collapse now You know it's got a all-fall part and then it doesn't like and I don't even mean like you know shtf You know end of the world collapse. I just being like the stock markets got a crash or

[00:04:25] You know I guess we did get some the news. I just caught a couple of glimpses of this and I had to dig it up. But the United States, the FBI came out with a report, basically saying that cyber attacks from China

[00:05:41] are like a serious threat right now

[00:05:44] and they're getting it, they're getting like backdoors the cell phones off. Yeah, people would lose their ship and polluted water trains derailing, air traffic controls being offline, port control systems going offline, meaning like travel and communication would be coming to an end. And people would be getting sick because God knows what they'd be consuming. The water coming out of the tap might not be clean

[00:07:03] anymore. If you disrupt those systems. So we're like, yeah. So, but I gotta say, even me, you know, King Prepper here, the badass of prepping, I still am like, yeah, yeah, that's what that guy came up with. But that's the thing, that's what I'm worried about.

[00:08:24] yeah, it's one of messed up, like, all right, so an outcome where everybody gets the same fair thing at the end,

[00:09:45] except rich people still get to keep their stuff. reviewing the applications. So all this one's white. That was good. That's the one. And that one, what a world we live in, right? What's that? I keep seeing memes about that. Was it Ariana Grande or Grande or whatever? I don't know. Some girls, but they were like, they show a picture of her

[00:11:00] and she like, my wife's like, oh, it's probably just lighting

[00:11:04] or whatever.

[00:11:05] But she's like a white girl.

[00:11:06] And then she's like a black girl. looking and I'm like every day I'm like is he gonna look like Kareem Abdul Jabbar this week? Is it gonna be? Does that interview totally different than you know, today's episode? So that's a thing. So I was I was looking at another one, right? So apparently all 50 states, there's that this I

[00:12:22] think I saw it on a Glenn Beck thing, whatever, which I know,

[00:12:25] you know, people have their world, right? Because you know, America's so civilized, you've seen it. You've seen what we elect as our leaders. You know we're making good choices over here. Right. Oh, anyway, they decided to venture in to politics, I would say.

[00:13:41] So it turns out they got all 50 US states It's if you have all your money, right? You have $50,000 and I give it to the bank Which is your investment account, right? I give it to the bank It's their money to do what they want like you said here. Go ahead and manage it And then give it back to me and do your best shot

[00:15:00] So the problem is if that bank

[00:15:04] Fidelity Vanguard group any of these goes belly up

[00:16:05] a big joke that people don't understand, right? So what happens is, right? Corporations pay tons of tax, right? They pay tax on everything they do. Now, what happens is they end up basically

[00:16:13] paying no tax. And here's why, because you have people who do bankruptcy, right? Now,

[00:16:20] we'll just use small numbers to make it easy. But we'll our legal team $2,000. And we reached out to them three more times, had to make five calls. That brings us up to $7,000. And then it was really uncomfortable for us because we didn't know what to do and we lost sleep.

[00:17:40] So that's another $3,000. So you intelligence verified that Russian propaganda strategy for the 2022 midterms was to target attack messaging believe. And that's why we immediately like dismiss stuff. Plus, I hate to say it. When news is globally, I mean, obviously, we should be informed, right? You should know what's kind of going on and pay attention. Because all this stuff is relevant to your family's safety. And to your, you know, everything that's going on is relevant to, you know,

[00:20:23] to what goes on in the world, right? I'm going to go talk to him and see what he has to say about why he's good, why the other guy's bad. And I'll glance at some headlines here and there. And you can kind of piece together a lot of what's going on. Because other people will condense all that information for you. And I hate to

[00:21:40] say it, that's kind of more the approach article, I was looking up a minute ago here. So this came across the Yahoo News feed, but it was funny.

[00:23:01] The wife saw it in her Facebook feed and then I just saw it the other day and I was like,

[00:23:05] yeah, that All right. I don't know what else to tell you. You know, it's just one of those things that you're just like, really, could that even be something that you could say? But it's when I hear stuff like that. That's when I'm like, wait a minute, you

[00:24:23] know, that doesn't, it's Russian-Ukraine conflict, biological weapons, developing technologies, trends in digital authoritarian But anybody I hear it say that kind of stuff. They're like I was always a boy They just got it wrong in the hospital and didn't right right like in my heart. I was a boy true and true Well, if it's current Then is it really like no, this is what I am or is this what I feel like right?

[00:28:04] And then the news is all designed to scare the shit out of you anyway, you know what I mean? There's there's never like a news story about how

[00:28:08] levels of starvation and and

[00:28:12] Yeah, or on the decline world

[00:28:14] Such a good job. There's a surplus of corn and a surplus of wheat

[00:28:19] We're all gonna have Cheerios and whatever and it's gonna work out great that that's never the news story you wait

[00:28:26] You have to do right, They like Biden or you know, whatever rate whatever it is or and and now I think there's less of that

[00:30:45] really happens. Right. I never knew anybody who was in, you know, a mass shooting attack or something. So it obviously isn't something I need to be worried about. I'm saying that's

[00:30:52] how people perceive the world because they can't kind of wrap their head around it. And to

[00:30:57] be honest, when there's a million things some kind of, you know, you have a concealed carry or you learned some kind of way to protect yourself like we talk about, you know, that's gonna cover 30% of these things going on. You know, it's gonna cover, right? If the grocery stores all shut

[00:32:22] down, there's riots at Walmart and people when bad things come up, we're kind of hedged against that. If there's inflation or hyperinflation, right? Well, one, I've already stockpiled some food and stuff.

[00:33:42] So I got that at a big discount if I beat inflation.

[00:33:47] If the trucks stop running, things like that, oil. Because when they made my truck in 1971, that oil, when you drain it out, it seized up in a minute. The oil on there now, you can run it for 40 hours without any oil in it. I saw the commercial. So I don't even need to work before they wanted me to change it every 5,000 miles. Now I could be not say not necessary. Prepping, we need months. We. I don't know. Every day I wake up and I'm like, man, there is a lot going on that I should be terrified about. And nuclear winner 15 years.

[00:36:23] You know, I'm watching some kind be a lot of deer left if the world ends and everybody's like, oh, I'm just gonna hunt and go get me to the backyard. I understand. But do you have a sustainable garden? Do you live in a place where it's not illegal to, you know, grow things in your yard, right what I mean? Yeah, exactly. You don't know, you don't are sha-urfs. And that's the thing. And so the closer you get to being prepared is really just the more self-reliant you are. When you're not dependent on the system and dependent on things from outside to dictate how you live your life and whether that's dependent on your boss
