[00:00:55] Hello Rye, welcome back to the Survival and Basic Badass Podcast with Kevin and Chuck.

[00:01:01] All right. Today, well, we're going to talk about Bigfoot. And everyone in their mind is like,

[00:01:09] real fake? What? And I know when you look at the cover and you look at that picture that I

[00:01:14] stole off of Canva, you're going to be like, I think that one might be fake. And that's okay.

[00:01:20] Because, you know, that's reality of my picture. I didn't actually see Bigfoot in the woods and take

[00:01:27] that picture. That was just, you know, Canva. But we're going to dig into it. Some of the lore,

[00:01:33] some of the what to do if you come across Bigfoot in the woods, whether Bigfoot might be real or might

[00:01:41] not. Kevin said he had some opinions he wanted to share. And yeah, we're going to just dig into it.

[00:01:48] So the first thing, where did Bigfoot kind of even come from? Like, has it always been? I feel like

[00:01:55] since the beginning of time, people have been seeing strange shit in the woods. Is that, that's

[00:02:00] your take? Yeah.

[00:02:03] All right. So, I mean, we, we hear stories of the Indians. They used to talk about, you know,

[00:02:09] creatures like that. And I think one of the things that keep the, the sightings, uh, dated, I guess,

[00:02:18] is we never had like a name for it until like, you know, we got to Sasquatch or Bigfoot, you know,

[00:02:25] later on, um, the Indians had a name S E S Q E T. So I guess you would say maybe Sesquit,

[00:02:32] something like that. I don't know. I don't speak Indian, whatever. So I think that's where they say

[00:02:39] that, you know, Sasquatch came from, right? You know, ignorant white man, how are we going to try

[00:02:44] and pronounce their words? You know how it is. Uh, there's another Indian word. It's like SACO,

[00:02:51] SACO, T S I A T K O, which means tall man. Okay.

[00:02:57] And you said, so like different things. Um, you've seen other names, Kevin, you were telling me?

[00:03:03] There's, there's, I mean, there's multiple native American names for,

[00:03:05] usually they translate to like, uh, hairy man or tall man or something like that. Wild man. Um,

[00:03:13] but now we've come up with our own, you know, anglicized names in the United States for,

[00:03:18] for Bigfoot. Bigfoot is obviously, you know, that was 1958. The first time somebody said Bigfoot

[00:03:24] and that was Jerry crew and Andrew, uh, uh, Gurgoli. And they were in, uh, they were, uh,

[00:03:33] uh, equipment operators for a logging company. Okay. And, um, they found tracks through the mud

[00:03:38] of 16 inch, you know, uh, long feet through the mud up there. And they were bare feet. They

[00:03:45] weren't like air Jordans or anything. No, no, no, boom tracks, nothing like that. Um, down in Florida,

[00:03:51] they call it the skunky grass man in Ohio, uh, Virginia. They call it the wood bugger,

[00:03:57] the wood bugger. I've never heard that one until I came across. I was, I heard kind of somebody

[00:04:04] doing a deep dive on names and they were talking about how they think it kind of comes from the

[00:04:09] boogeyman. Okay. All right. That's where you get like booger man and boogeyman and kind of,

[00:04:15] and then it, you know, Oh, he's in the woods. So he's the wood bugger, you know? Right.

[00:04:20] I don't know. And, and whatever, you know, you, you do you right. Yeah. Yeah. They call it the

[00:04:27] monster of white hall in New York. And now I've lived in this area in my whole life. I've been

[00:04:33] all through the woods here. Like every bit of forest in this, in this state I've been through,

[00:04:39] never saw the monster of white hall, but apparently he's up here. Um, in the, they call it the Momo.

[00:04:47] Okay. The Momo. I like that one. Now you have seen the headless horseman though, right? In New York.

[00:04:53] I have seen him. Yeah. Okay. All right. Yeah. Screw that. I just want to make sure that it's not,

[00:04:57] you know, I mean, I've seen the Jersey devil. He's definitely real, but all right. Uh,

[00:05:05] a honey Island swamp monster. That's what they call it in Louisiana. And that down set,

[00:05:09] they have a couple of different names for, um, old men of the mountain is what they call it in,

[00:05:15] uh, in West Virginia. So they, I mean, there's definitely a lot of them. What's that?

[00:05:22] Somebody in the comments said Baba Yaga. Baba Yaga. Yeah. Isn't that a witch from Russia?

[00:05:28] I'm not, I'm not clear on my folklore on that one. All right. I mean,

[00:05:32] some people say that the Wendigo was a big foot, but I think Wendigo is supposed to be a shape shifter

[00:05:37] and, and suck people's blood and stuff. So I don't, not sure if that's the same dance.

[00:05:43] All right. So yeah. How would you even like, what do you notice when you go into the woods? If there

[00:05:50] might be Bigfoot, like, how would you even know if you didn't just see them? Like,

[00:05:54] right. So there's the, obviously the footprints, you know, everybody got the big footprints.

[00:06:00] Footprints. There's like casts and stuff all over the place of purported, you know, Bigfoot tracks.

[00:06:06] All right. Now I tried to get a good picture. Cause I, I saw one of the things on like the

[00:06:11] history channel and they were digging deep into the feet, but without like stealing it and ripping

[00:06:16] it right off their show, I didn't want to do that. So they had nobody else really had it on like

[00:06:22] screenshots of Bigfoot. They had like mold I could buy to make my own in the woods.

[00:06:26] But one of the big things on, on the history channel I saw was they were talking about at the

[00:06:33] heel. It has like a second crease. If it's a, if it's a real Bigfoot. Okay. So you have the

[00:06:42] giant. It's weird. Cause I know like when I make tracks in the snow, unless it's like wet sand or

[00:06:48] something, you don't see like the individual toes and like, you know, like distinctly, these are

[00:06:54] always like cut out, like boom, you know, everything right in there in the mud. But, uh, you know, I

[00:07:01] never get perfect tracks, but maybe those are the ones that only make it to the internet. You know,

[00:07:05] only the best rise to the top. That's why we have Google to make sure they sort out all the junk,

[00:07:11] the real big foot tracks, the fake ones, the real tracks. Right. But supposedly if it's a real track,

[00:07:18] you have just a lighter spot of the impression under the heel, like a line across the middle.

[00:07:24] So anyway, there's that, uh, another sign that you might have Bigfoot in your woods is if you smell

[00:07:33] him and you're like, well, Chuck, what does Bigfoot smell like? I have no idea. Well, I'm going to tell

[00:07:38] you. So Bigfoot is got a skunky smell and they say kind of like body odor. Now people actually were

[00:07:48] saying that it could be, um, like something like how a skunk sprays out a scent when it's time.

[00:07:58] And, and they think that might be like, he's trying to deter you. You're like, Oh, it smells like shit

[00:08:03] here. I'm just going to leave. Right. And that's what's supposed to be happening when you smell

[00:08:08] Bigfoot. That could be why there aren't more sightings of Bigfoot, you know, as comedy,

[00:08:14] cause you're like, Oh, well I smell shit. I don't want to be around here.

[00:08:19] Skunk outside. I ain't going out there. Set up my tent over there. Uh, it's very possible that

[00:08:25] anytime you see it, uh, or smell a skunk when you're going down the road, it could be,

[00:08:31] could be big foot. Right. I mean, you might see a dead skunk on the side of the road and be like,

[00:08:36] no, that's what it was. It still could be big foot. He might be hanging out by the skunk to

[00:08:42] cover up his own smell. You never thought of that. Um, now there's the other thing is the

[00:08:48] big foot noise, like the big foot call. They actually say that it could be something called

[00:08:56] infrasound or they say that it is infrasound. Um, which is like, think of how like whales

[00:09:03] communicate. You know, you hear that loud, like screech that you can't even like really describe.

[00:09:08] It's kind of like an aura or something like that. Um, the, uh, but I, I don't know. I actually, uh,

[00:09:18] snatched a sound off the internet that I might be able to play for you, Kevin.

[00:09:22] All right. Let's hear it. You tell me what you think and, uh, we'll see if, uh, this sounds

[00:09:28] familiar. Maybe you've heard this in the woods and we'll see where we're at here. No, have you heard

[00:09:44] that? I mean, that sounded like, uh, something roaring. I don't know. I mean, I've heard some weird

[00:09:50] shit in the woods and everything I've, I've heard, you know, I've been able to figure out what it was.

[00:09:58] Have you ever had where your wife is like, there's a baby crying out in the woods. Go check it out.

[00:10:04] Yeah. I'm going to, I'm going to tell you exactly what happened. Cause I do have a story about that.

[00:10:09] I was in the back part of my property. The fire pit was just me and the wife hanging out. And, uh,

[00:10:15] I heard like, it sounded like somebody was murdering a child, like high pitched, like screaming.

[00:10:23] And it was murdering the child, right? It was, it seemed like it was just outside of the firelight,

[00:10:29] you know, was like 20 feet away tops. And I turned around to ask my wife what she thought it was.

[00:10:35] And she was already gone. I saw her assholes and elbows, you know what I mean? She was smarter than

[00:10:41] me. She was already running into the house, already across the lawn. You know what I mean?

[00:10:46] You just saw the screen door on the porch just kind of flapping shut, right?

[00:10:51] Yeah. She, uh, so I, I did look it up. It, that, that sound didn't match up to like a bobcat

[00:10:58] sound. So I'm assuming that's what it was, but.

[00:11:00] If you guys are wondering, this is, this is what a bobcat crying kind of sounds.

[00:11:15] I was like two of them, but you get that whiny, whatever. Now they also make bobcats make like a

[00:11:22] bird noise, which I've heard people say, Oh, is that big foot? And I'm like, no, no, that's just a

[00:11:27] bobcat too. And that's more like this. I don't know. I always thought that was a bird, not, you know,

[00:11:38] I don't know, but there's a lot. Turns out when you spend time in the woods, like other things like

[00:11:45] deer, right. When they make that, you know, today's a opening season for a deer hunting here

[00:11:50] in the great state of North Carolina. I just want to point that out. Um, but like when a deer sense

[00:11:59] that there's other predator, when there's a predator in the area, they alert the other deer around

[00:12:04] by this like heavy breathing, like snort noise. People are like, Oh, Sasquatch, you know? And I'm

[00:12:11] like, no, no, but I can't even duplicate it. And then, you know, they deer have a bunch of noises too.

[00:12:20] It's weird. You know, there's, you gotta really just like spend time out in the woods. If you're

[00:12:25] gonna understand nature, it turns out. Right. Right. Um, now one of the other things people describe

[00:12:32] when they, they hear come across big foot is like everything else kind of goes quiet in the woods.

[00:12:38] Like all the other animals know there's a big predator in town and they're like, you know what?

[00:12:43] I'm just going to shut up. So that way I'm not the problem, you know? Yeah. I think, uh, you know,

[00:12:52] so, so let's get into some of the, some of the stories of, of big foot, some of the folklore.

[00:12:58] So that the earliest one I could find was, um, big foot war of 1855. Did you guys know that

[00:13:06] there was a war between, uh, natives, white settlers? It was the Choctaw and some white

[00:13:12] settlers. So they, they basically, they were, things were disappearing like, uh, livestock and,

[00:13:20] and, um, you know, food like crops for getting stolen. So anytime they set up a watch though,

[00:13:27] nothing got stolen. Like they're smart enough to know that there's somebody,

[00:13:31] you know, waiting to catch them. Right. Obviously they set off, you know, they never set off any

[00:13:37] traps or anything like that. And then women and kids started disappearing. So the Choctaw had a thing

[00:13:44] where you would, if you were, if you were, uh, having your period, you would go out, a woman having her

[00:13:49] period would go out to the outside of the village and they started disappearing and get snatched up.

[00:13:55] Kids were disappearing. You know, they're like, Oh, you're kind of risky. We don't want you bringing it in.

[00:14:01] And why don't you? They went out looking for it. They, they put a hunting party together with,

[00:14:08] uh, like I said, some white settlers and some Choctaw and they went out looking for these Bigfoot.

[00:14:14] Well, they came across them, they found them and they charged in with their horses. And, uh,

[00:14:21] apparently one of the Bigfoot punched one of the horses so hard that it, it killed it just,

[00:14:26] you know, smacking it in the face, which, uh, you know, I support that. I hate horses too. So,

[00:14:33] I mean, that's good. Um, then, uh, one of the guys, uh, uh, went after it and, uh, they, the,

[00:14:41] the Sasquatch ripped his head right off of his shoulders, according to this story. And, uh,

[00:14:51] so they, they had some Buffalo hunting rifles with them and they lit them up and they killed two

[00:14:58] Sasquatches and the rest of them ran off, but then they just burned the bodies.

[00:15:03] Oh, come on guys. You had the actual proof. I mean, it was 1855. So, I mean, there's not,

[00:15:10] there wasn't a way to like save them. There was another one where they, they were going to send

[00:15:16] it back to England also like in the, you know, 1700s and they loaded it up on a ship and then

[00:15:23] like halfway through, they were like, this really smells. And they just threw it. You never know,

[00:15:29] you know, like these things can get in the way. So that, that's a thing. Um, all right. So smelly,

[00:15:38] big in the woods. Now, what, what do you do when you come across Bigfoot? Like you, you're,

[00:15:45] I guess that's like your own personal, you know, are you a psycho or, you know, you after now,

[00:15:51] I never really hear stories of being Bigfoot being aggressive. Although I would have to say

[00:15:57] your story of him ripping somebody's head off does sound a little aggressive. Yeah. So that's a

[00:16:02] little bit aggressive. I mean, that can't be, to be honest with you, you're not supposed to shoot

[00:16:11] Bigfoot. If you see him, that is probably a dude in a Bigfoot costume and you're just murdering

[00:16:16] somebody. Like there's gotta be like, there's no chance I'm going to be fake Bigfoot in the woods.

[00:16:23] Well, one case I'm about two feet too short, maybe even three feet too short, but just the same.

[00:16:32] I'm out there in a Bigfoot, you know, I mean, already I got the, I don't shave. I got back,

[00:16:39] you know, it, it's not going to end well in the woods that somebody is going to be like, yep,

[00:16:45] there's Bigfoot. I'm shooting them. The only thing that saves me right now is that I'm too short.

[00:16:51] You know, everyone's like, I don't think big now maybe a baby Bigfoot, but not, you know,

[00:16:56] that guy ain't doing it. Yeah. Now personally, you know, I'm a lover, not a, not a fighter.

[00:17:04] And I think that I would try and make love to Bigfoot and just, you know, Steve, I mean,

[00:17:10] see if we're close enough species that we can have a baby. I don't know. I don't know anything

[00:17:14] about it. Maybe it was just a big hairy woman. I don't know. You know, I've dated women like that

[00:17:19] before. Have you seen the Gimlin video? That that's one of the old ones. That was a 19,

[00:17:26] 1967. If you've ever seen these documentaries, it's always like the go-to video that was

[00:17:34] supposedly a woman. They're like, Oh, you know, cause it has breasts. And I'm like, okay. You know,

[00:17:40] so whatever could have just been like a fat Bigfoot, you know, like whatever that's supposed

[00:17:45] to be like the most definitive proof that Bigfoot exists. We're still going back to 1967.

[00:17:52] Yeah. And you know, I, I, I feel like from what I've seen about that, that that one's been debunked,

[00:17:58] but I'm not sure. Oh, Kevin, that I'm not sure that that's not, I've been holding on to that one.

[00:18:04] Yeah. I'm not, I'm not buying that one. I think the guy is a, the guy, whoever it is,

[00:18:10] Gimlin, I think he was a fraud, but I mean, I don't know, man. I don't know for sure.

[00:18:15] Kevin, I had the five Bigfoot supporters that were going to come over to our podcast because

[00:18:20] they were like Bigfoot. These guys know what they're talking about. And then now their hero,

[00:18:26] Gimlin, you're, you're kind of painting as a, I think it's like the Patterson Gimlin video.

[00:18:33] Did you ever see, um, uh, did you ever see the, uh, movie Willow Creek? It was, uh,

[00:18:41] written and directed by Bob. Remember Bobcat Goldtweb? Yeah.

[00:18:47] Yeah. So he, uh, he made a movie about it and, uh, I don't want to spoil it. It was a little bit

[00:18:55] boring and then it was super crazy for like the last 10 minutes. But, um, you know, those are not

[00:19:02] the Bigfoot you want to hang out with. I'll just put it that way. They're not like, uh, the friendly

[00:19:07] Bigfoot that, you know, is a vegetarian. So you gotta really, uh, be careful because we don't know

[00:19:13] what Bigfoot's going to do. He's not always like a friendly, fun loving dude, you know?

[00:19:18] We're hanging out in the woods. We see Bigfoot. Kevin wants to go make love to Bigfoot, apparently.

[00:19:25] Um, the trick is to stay calm. And I think whether you're taking Kevin's approach,

[00:19:30] whether you're going to hunt it down or whether you just want to get out of there alive,

[00:19:36] stay calm is your number one go-to. All right. Cause you're not going to be able to go make that

[00:19:41] sweet, sweet love unless you're able to get, you know, approach, right?

[00:19:46] Supposedly they're like, uh, like, you know,

[00:19:50] hermits and they try and get away from you. They don't want to hang out.

[00:19:54] Like you don't want to hang out with you.

[00:19:56] The only impression that I've really heard from Bigfoot is like, he'll throw rocks if you get too

[00:20:02] close. And I've heard, you know, they'll throw stones at you. So they say don't approach, which

[00:20:08] is contrary to Kevin's advice. Although if you've been listening to this show for a long time,

[00:20:14] I think you guys remember he has given advice that may or may not get you killed.

[00:20:20] Yeah. So we just killed another person now because somebody is going to go out there trying to,

[00:20:24] trying to, you know, seduce Bigfoot and end up getting their head back off.

[00:20:28] You want to observe quietly.

[00:20:31] Okay.

[00:20:31] As to not disturb it.

[00:20:33] All right.

[00:20:33] But I'm told that like, they even kind of sense your, you know, staring. They seem like

[00:20:37] they're really in tune with the forest. But I imagine if you're like sneaking up on deer and,

[00:20:42] and bagging them with your bare hands, then you're probably in tune with the forest, right?

[00:20:48] You're, you're already there. Like that guy is you're not, but Bigfoot is. So Bigfoot's going to

[00:20:54] notice if you're there is my guess. Um, slowly back away. The, the key is to document,

[00:21:01] to get your cell phone out and send it to me and Kevin. Cause we'll publicize it to our like 40

[00:21:08] audience members. Right. Right. If you have Bigfoot footage, you send it over to us.

[00:21:13] Right. They say you want to leave the area completely, uh, and then report it. I don't

[00:21:20] know who you're reporting it to, but, uh, report it. Cause I'm sure the police would love to hear about

[00:21:28] Bigfoot in the woods and they'll send somebody right over. Now, what was the story in California?

[00:21:33] I was going to look that up when I thought about this episode, remember they found, or was it two

[00:21:37] aliens in the backyard in LA or whatever? Oh yeah. Yeah. No, those were aliens. It was big aliens.

[00:21:44] Okay. And you know, there's a lot of speculation that Bigfoots are aliens.

[00:21:49] So I do have a painting off the post that I have a painting in the backyard. That's got, uh,

[00:21:54] uh, Bigfoot and aliens. So, I mean, we'll see what, what happens. If I remember, I'll,

[00:21:59] I'll post it on the Facebook page. So, so we want to be quiet, quietly observe Bigfoot.

[00:22:11] Smell, make sure we're smelling them.

[00:22:15] All right.

[00:22:16] Well, you want to document the smells, maybe see if you can get them to make the noise,

[00:22:20] you know, just, you know, if you have like a jar or sealable jar, capture some of that air,

[00:22:25] you know, just fire it up. And then, you know, you can later verify by, you know, a sniffle.

[00:22:32] All right. That tracks. Um, all right. So infrasound, I think we got, all right. Now,

[00:22:40] another thing in the forest is dog man. Now there, so what do you think there's,

[00:22:49] are these all related? Is there a connection? So there's like, um, what,

[00:22:55] what was the big white one in, you know, the, what do they call them? The, the Yeti Yeti,

[00:23:01] right. Like Nepal. Yeah. That's just like a polar bear versus a grizzly. Is that different?

[00:23:07] Same thing, but you know, different, little different. All right. Now dog man, totally

[00:23:11] different. Now dog man's like a game changer. Now this, this guy you see in the woods,

[00:23:16] you just start shooting. Oh yeah. That's like, yeah. It's like werewolf. That's like,

[00:23:21] you know, you're no dog man's he's a sneaky one. Um, this was, uh, this picture was from a, uh,

[00:23:29] security guard who was doing like, he heard some noises outside and went out like he was guarding

[00:23:35] a building and, uh, and there's a giant dog man hiding behind the night pole.

[00:23:40] I was listening to dog man stories and cause you know, there's a whole podcast about it.

[00:23:47] Oh yeah. Probably several. No, like I understand we did a podcast episode, but I mean, I'm talking

[00:23:53] every week. There's somebody else on there going, let me tell you about dog man and how he got me.

[00:24:00] And now dog man is actually known to be like territorial. Like he's going to keep getting

[00:24:07] you, you keep going in his woods. He's going to get you until he finishes you off. Okay. Um,

[00:24:13] people talk about getting shots off on dog man and you know, shooting them eight, nine times,

[00:24:20] come back six months later. He's still there. He silver bullets. The guy's like, yeah,

[00:24:27] I shot him with three Oh eight, but he didn't come with similar bullets. You know? Yeah. Now the one

[00:24:32] story I heard, he's like, Oh, it was Friday the 13th, but it was not a full moon. I'm just saying.

[00:24:38] Okay. All right. All right. So maybe dog man is Friday the 13th and wolf man is moon full moon.

[00:24:45] It's full moon. Right. I mean, that's an option. No, I don't, I don't want to be little,

[00:24:49] you know, these things. I don't want to take away from what, you know, people believe or whatever. I,

[00:24:54] cause I'm not, the thing is right. So there's tons of things in the woods and the odds of there being

[00:25:02] different species that we haven't seen. And we haven't found, I'd say are very high. Um,

[00:25:08] they are actually finding new species of things all the time. Right. And you know, all that's possible.

[00:25:17] My question to you, Kevin though, is like, I live in, in the great state of North Carolina and I got to

[00:25:23] tell you, it's pretty hard to walk past a tree in North Carolina without a trail cam stuck on it

[00:25:30] somewhere. Right. They're, they're everywhere. And why are we not getting more footage of Bigfoot?

[00:25:37] That's what I'm concerned about. That's a good question. And I think, uh, I think, um,

[00:25:43] I think the big, Bigfoot population is, is kind of going down. You know what I mean? We don't,

[00:25:50] we haven't seen any, any good footage of them. No, I haven't seen it. That was,

[00:25:55] that's a good picture that you just put up there, except it doesn't have a head. And I don't

[00:25:58] understand that. And a real flat, but you know what I mean? Not the sexiest big, but I'd say it's

[00:26:04] not the sexiest big, but I've seen, but I mean, you know, I could be cameras at this point.

[00:26:13] Yeah. And I know we have a lot of pictures and footage that are questionable. Yeah. But maybe

[00:26:20] Bigfoot is just blurry. Maybe that's just what he looks like in real life. And that's why all the

[00:26:25] pictures are blurry. I don't know. I mean, there's not pictures of like Slenderman that are really,

[00:26:32] or are there, are there a lot of Slenderman pictures? Yeah. Yeah. I think there are a few

[00:26:36] Slenderman pictures, but I mean, they're all obviously, I don't know. I don't want to say,

[00:26:42] obviously, I don't know if there's a Slenderman or not, you know, that's, that's, I guess my take

[00:26:48] is like, I think there's definitely things out there that are, you know, unexplained and, and

[00:26:53] whatever. I have no problem believing that something could exist. I just have a real hard time. Like

[00:27:00] you would have been way easier to sell me on it in, we'll say even 1950, you know, it's just that

[00:27:08] there is a trail cam everywhere anymore. And I just don't see how you're moving through the foot.

[00:27:14] Now I would say they're electronic. They're giving off infrared a lot of the time at night

[00:27:20] to take that picture. It's got like an IR light. Right. Maybe see, maybe they hear the frequency of

[00:27:27] this stuff going on, you know, dogs hear what? 2,500 times, or they smell 2,500 times better.

[00:27:34] Maybe they're just really deep in the woods. Consider that. Did you, Kevin?

[00:27:40] They could just be way out there. You know what I mean?

[00:27:43] Now I have a map of the sightings and they're kind of everywhere. I got to say like Bigfoot,

[00:27:50] like Florida, completely saturated, but don't all crazy things really happen in Florida?

[00:27:56] Yeah. I mean, absolutely. Absolutely. If there wasn't a Bigfoot in Florida, I'd be shocked.

[00:28:02] Right. Then you'd be like, nah, I don't think so. It can't be.

[00:28:04] I mean, they got like, you know, dinosaurs, you know, alligators down there eating people

[00:28:09] and stuff. I mean, there's all sorts of wild shit in Florida. I don't know.

[00:28:14] Yeah. I, I, I don't know. It's crazy to me.

[00:28:18] What I did see from that map though, is South Dakota is really not coming up with a lot of Bigfoots.

[00:28:24] That's the go-to.

[00:28:25] You need to, you need to really pick up your game if you're in South Dakota and start reporting

[00:28:28] some, some Bigfoots. You need to get out there with your camera and you need to start looking,

[00:28:32] man.

[00:28:33] They probably don't have trail cameras out there is my guess. Um, I'm actually same thing.

[00:28:38] Like Quebec looks wide open. Um, but, uh, yeah, South Dakota, it looks like, I mean,

[00:28:44] the ones I see in South Dakota look like it's overlapped from Nebraska. That's how few we have

[00:28:49] here that really, right. Um, let's think. So dog man also has glowing eyes.

[00:28:56] Oh, okay. All right. I didn't, that's one of the go-to of how, you know, that it's dog

[00:29:01] man versus Bigfoot that his face, instead of looking like a man, it looks like a dog dog.

[00:29:07] All right. You probably were able to put that together on your own. Um, the, I don't know.

[00:29:14] It's an ugly world, but dog man, very aggressive. Bigfoot. Yeah. Like I said, he seems like he

[00:29:22] just wants to get away. I feel like I would connect a lot more with Bigfoot. Yeah. You

[00:29:27] know, I just want to get away from people. Stop taking my picture. You know, you just

[00:29:35] want to like, that's why I'm out here already. I already got the beard, you know, whatever

[00:29:40] living out in the middle of nowhere. Weird. I live in the middle of nowhere. You know, that's,

[00:29:45] that's the go-to right. All right. So let's, let's talk about some of the things that you

[00:29:50] might mistake Bigfoot for. All right. You might think it's Bigfoot, but it's something

[00:29:56] else. Well, we'll get to that first on my list though is bears. So I see a lot of, uh,

[00:30:02] a lot of videos of bears walking on two feet. And I think, uh, I think some of the reports

[00:30:08] are, you know, are just bears that are walking around on two feet. Now the other one that I

[00:30:17] see a lot, I see a lot of people say what it is, is, is escaped apes. Now that happened

[00:30:24] a lot. I don't, they, I don't think that that does. I think we know if there are like

[00:30:30] apes on the loose, but what they're saying is people have them in like private collections

[00:30:34] and they're escaping from there. Like not tigers. Right. Exactly. Like that. All right. I'm not,

[00:30:42] not really buying that explanation either. You, you have that animal sanctuary by your house.

[00:30:48] I know they used to let like the bowl would get out all the time and roam the neighborhood.

[00:30:52] My kid one time was like, dude, there's an ostrich in the backyard. And I'm like, there's

[00:30:58] no ostrich in the backyard. And he's like, there is, I saw it. I'm like, maybe a chicken. He's

[00:31:04] like, no, I'm sure. And then later we were like, maybe it was from the animal sanctuary,

[00:31:10] like an emu or an ostrich. Like it could have, could have gotten loose. Yeah. I know I've seen,

[00:31:15] I know I've heard about a loose Buffalo in this area too. So it's like, you know, there is stuff

[00:31:21] that's not, you know, that gets out that isn't necessarily supposed to be in the area, but I'm

[00:31:26] not, I'm not buying that escape date theory. Now I did hear a theory of, it might just be

[00:31:34] Confederate soldiers just hiding out from them. Oh yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, I mean, it seems

[00:31:40] like that would be a little bit, I mean, I think they aged out now at this point.

[00:31:44] Now. Yeah. Uh, one of the things people always say, is it Bigfoot or is it a gorilla? Like,

[00:31:50] aren't they the same? And, and like you said, but I guess one of the big differences that, uh,

[00:31:56] Bigfoot has longer legs than you would have if you were a gorilla. Yeah. He's more manlike in the

[00:32:05] thing. The legs definitely are, are the key that it's, it's longer legs and, and a little taller

[00:32:11] that way. So that's where you, you see the difference. All right. So, well, there is,

[00:32:16] there is speculation about, uh, uh, extinct animal called Gigantopithecus,

[00:32:23] which may have been, you know, like the original, you know, the original where the stories come from,

[00:32:31] like a, a large eight that, that hypothetically lived, you know, in the Northwest and, and

[00:32:37] Eastern most parts of China. Um, now I think most of them are people though. Most of the time people

[00:32:46] see Bigfoots, it's people they misidentify. So 2013, uh, 21 year old, um, he told the police

[00:32:54] that he accidentally shot his friend in the back because they're out there hunting for Bigfoot.

[00:33:00] And he thought his friend was a Bigfoot shot. I wasn't seeing that play out. Yeah. I, to me,

[00:33:04] I don't know that it was an accident. I think he probably intended to shoot his friend and just

[00:33:08] said he was, you know, thought he was Bigfoot. Yeah, that sounds right. 2017. This is now,

[00:33:15] this is the North Carolina one here. Oh, a shamanist, like a witch doctor or somebody that

[00:33:22] thinks they're a witch doctor wearing clothing made out of animal furs was vacationing in North

[00:33:28] Carolina when Bigfoot sightings like flooded into the, the Greenville police department.

[00:33:34] That, that is a weird coincidence that you're hanging out in the woods in furs and.

[00:33:41] Right. And it says the Greenville police department had to put out a statement to not shoot Bigfoot.

[00:33:48] Because probably a dude, it might be trapper job. Yeah. Don't, don't shoot Bigfoot.

[00:33:55] In 2018, a man was shot multiple times near, uh, Helena, Montana.

[00:34:02] And it was mistook by a Bigfoot, you know, as I, like a, a hunter mistook him for Bigfoot.

[00:34:09] So, I mean, there's a few, there's a few stories of people actually getting shot and

[00:34:16] being, you know, because they were mistaken for a Bigfoot.

[00:34:19] Right. I feel like that's, that's the big deterrent to not like dress up like Bigfoot and go mess with

[00:34:25] people in the woods. I feel like there's like a 90% chance you're just going to get shot.

[00:34:30] You know, it doesn't, doesn't sound.

[00:34:33] Or, or, you know, you might get raped. Who knows, who knows who's out in the woods with you? You know

[00:34:39] what I mean? Yeah, exactly.

[00:34:42] So one of the other things is, uh, feral humans and hermits. Now we don't, most people don't come

[00:34:50] across them a lot in areas, you know, most people live in, but you go out in the, in the woods,

[00:34:57] like deep enough, there's definitely weirdos and people that live out there. Uh, a friend of mine

[00:35:03] said that he was up there like investigating Bigfoot. And he said, he just found like a bunch

[00:35:08] of, uh, uh, he just came across a bunch of old, like, you know, weirdos with long beards in the

[00:35:14] woods that are, you know, look like they're in brand and creepy looking, but no Bigfoots.

[00:35:19] All right. That makes sense. And then there's a term called, uh, para do, uh, dolia, I guess.

[00:35:26] But basically that's the, the tendency for people to like see human faces and, and shapes

[00:35:33] in nature that aren't really there. You know, your eye catches it. It's why you see like

[00:35:37] faces and the bark of tree and trees and stuff like that. You know, it's just something

[00:35:43] that happens. You're trying to put it together in your mind's eye, if you will. Right.

[00:35:47] Right. Right. I see it. Now there is a guy in, uh, in Canada, uh, named Melba Ketchum,

[00:35:56] who is very much, uh, very much worried about, uh, Bigfoots. Uh, he thinks they're not being

[00:36:04] treated fairly. And this is a quote from him. Government at all levels must recognize them

[00:36:11] as an indigenous people and immediately protected human and constitutional rights. So,

[00:36:18] you know, maybe you can't just go around raping Bigfoots. I don't, I mean, I don't know.

[00:36:23] I don't know what anybody does.

[00:36:25] Kevin, you got to respect different cultures, different people. Come on.

[00:36:29] That's right. That's right. So they're different. Does it mean you're allowed to love them?

[00:36:35] Freedom of speech, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, you know, that's, uh, that's all,

[00:36:41] all protected. All right. All right. I see it, but yeah, that's kind of, I think that's,

[00:36:51] that's about as much Bigfoot as we can tackle. I don't know. You have any other secret insight

[00:36:57] that I'm, I'm cutting you short on? No. Well, I mean, I think that, uh, I think that we have to,

[00:37:02] uh, we have to all get out there and remember to always carry your camera with you and be ready

[00:37:08] because Bigfoot can show up at any time. And you saw the map. He can be any place. Like you think

[00:37:15] I'm in Virginia. I'm safe from Bigfoot. You're not, you know, Bigfoot lives in like Oregon and

[00:37:20] Washington state, but you don't know. You don't know. Bigfoot can be anywhere. Right. He's heavy in,

[00:37:26] in the Northwest, but you know, in the Pacific Northwest, if you will. But I gotta say he

[00:37:33] could be anywhere and that's the thing. So keep the batteries in your trail cam, right? Check that

[00:37:39] footage. It's a little questionable investigate, right? Maybe, maybe see if we can set some traps.

[00:37:45] I don't know what kind of bait we'd use for Bigfoot. Like, I think, I think if we like tie baby

[00:37:50] deer and just leave them tied to a stick in the woods, that would be like a good, you know,

[00:37:55] lure them in. Right. Cause I know whenever they're like looking for Bigfoot, they're always like,

[00:38:01] look at this deer carcass. It's completely, you know, and I'm like, you think that a hunter maybe

[00:38:06] just gutted it and left it, you know? Now, now I have one personal theory about Bigfoot and I don't

[00:38:14] know how accurate it is. You know, we've, we've talked about like, um, you know, ancient apes and,

[00:38:20] and, uh, aliens and, and we've covered a lot of the stuff. One of my personal theories is that

[00:38:27] possibly Bigfoot could, could be a human, but it's like, um, kind of like werewolves,

[00:38:36] but like there's certain, certain indigenous women when they go on their monthly cycle,

[00:38:42] become a Bigfoot. That's why you can't find the Bigfoot because by the time you track them down,

[00:38:48] they're elusive, you know, it's just like, I was just here in the woods.

[00:38:53] Yeah. Four or five days a month, you know, there's a Bigfoot, but the rest of the time it's not,

[00:38:58] not around. So, I mean, that's just one of my personal theories. I don't know.

[00:39:03] Donuts maybe leave a plate of donuts. Cause I like donuts.

[00:39:07] I like donuts too. If Bigfoot is that chocolate donuts, because women on their period love chocolate.

[00:39:13] So go with the chocolate donuts. This is why our audience is not growing. This is why,

[00:39:20] uh, the Harry and the Hendersons, right? That documentary, vegetarian, right? He was a

[00:39:26] vegetarian in that one. That's true. I was going to dig that show out. I actually, last night at

[00:39:32] work, I was like, Oh, I'm going to, I'm going to make time and watch, uh, Red Riding Hood.

[00:39:37] Cause that was kind of that Wolfman in the woods kind of thing. It was like a werewolf and whatever,

[00:39:43] like giveaway any key plot points, but I know who it was, but I'm not going to tell you.

[00:39:49] Okay. All right. I didn't see the movie.

[00:39:52] Dude, it's worth it all day. Red Riding Hood. No, that's like a werewolf movie, you know, whatever.

[00:39:57] Okay. But that that's worth it all day long. Yeah. Willow Creek, I have to say is my favorite

[00:40:04] Bigfoot movie. And I'd recommend watching that if you haven't seen it. All right.

[00:40:11] Um, I don't know that we've come across any DNA evidence of Bigfoot. I know there's like,

[00:40:17] I've heard stories that there is. I don't know. I don't, I haven't seen any like accurate

[00:40:23] reporting about that. Bigfoot hair. Do you remember there's a guys that captured a Bigfoot

[00:40:29] and they had them in the freezer, but it was all like frozen over. Like they filled it up with ice

[00:40:33] and it froze it into a block and they were reporting it for two or three days. I would like,

[00:40:39] you know, uh, hair dryers and stuff trying to throw them out. And when they finally got down where they

[00:40:43] could take a sample of the hair, it was plastic. It was just, it was just a, uh, Bigfoot suit.

[00:40:49] So right now, now Sharon said, uh, donuts, right. Would be the key. And then slow said

[00:40:56] powdered donuts. Cause it would leave a trail. Right. That's smart. That's smart. You find like,

[00:41:05] yep. Right through. So I don't know. I just, I, like I said, I think anything could be out there.

[00:41:12] I think there's a lot of scary things in the woods that go bump in the night.

[00:41:16] Um, more and more, I'm pretty confident with things. I gotta say, I feel like just carrying

[00:41:22] all the time you're like ready, but you see these people like fighting off dog men and they're like,

[00:41:27] I shot him 15 times that he kept coming. So I don't know, maybe that, maybe we shouldn't be as

[00:41:32] confident carrying the gun in the woods, but I'm just saying, you know, or, but you always have the

[00:41:38] risk of like, come up on a pack of coyotes or wolves. If you live in the real woods, um, you know,

[00:41:45] you come across a bunch of wolves having a handgun isn't like, Oh, I'm good.

[00:41:50] That's not exactly what comes to mind. There's always something bigger and scarier in the woods,

[00:41:57] but it's rare that you're going to come across it. Yeah. I mean, if you come across a grizzly bear,

[00:42:03] even if you have a gun, you might be like, I didn't plan for that. You know? Yeah. Yeah.

[00:42:09] Unless you're playing on a hunting grizzly bear and have a high enough caliber rifle or something,

[00:42:14] you know, if you've got a 22 pistol, don't start taking shots at a grizzly bear.

[00:42:18] You know, it's just not, not a smart move.

[00:42:21] They say, don't poke the bear. I think that's really what it comes down to.

[00:42:26] So I don't know. That's what I got on that. I just, I appreciate if you guys enjoyed it,
