[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Hello, Rye! Welcome back to the Survival and Basic Badass Podcast, Kevin and Chuck.
[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, today we're back on Russia. It's funny, we always talk about the different threats and things that are going on in the world and I say Russia seems to be a good place.
[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a recurring theme.
[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_01]: They show up a lot, don't they?
[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_01]: They do. So we're actually going to kind of dig into there's big scandals coming out now about Russian election interference, election meddling, that kind of thing.
[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_01]: It's funny because I feel like they want you to think that it's really because conservatives are out there trying to steal elections.
[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's maybe even, I would go as far as to say is shift the blame. Look over here, the Republicans are cheating and then they can keep cheating over here.
[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they're all cheating. I don't really know.
[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_01]: What I do know is the Russians, I know we mentioned the last couple of weeks, we said that they seem to have pro-Trump kind of things and that kind of stuff.
[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It was actually like we were a little bit ahead of the curve, Kevin. I think you were a little on it because...
[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean that news story had come out right before we started the podcast and talked about it.
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's funny because we had already prepared, but so then this kind of broke. We had talked about that they seem to be like pro-Trump kind of things, but really what ended up being paid for and whatever was really a big anti-Ukraine war kind of thing.
[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_01]: We need to stop funding and that kind of stuff. That's really where it dug into. But the big scandal is all these podcasters and media, social media people, YouTube and just influencers on, you know, TikTok and Facebook and all this other stuff are getting paid like crazy for promoting stuff and we're not.
[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not getting...
[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_00]: The story.
[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_01]: They are getting like a little bit.
[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, but we're not getting like 10 pool money.
[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Like Andy covers the internet bill, but that's about where we're at.
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Barely.
[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_01]: It's funny because like between paying for hosting and the internet bill, it kind of is like a wash with the advertising.
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, well, yeah, but it's, you know, so you're like, yeah, it makes money.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Kind of.
[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like my wife's farm makes money.
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_01]: How farmers make money is same thing.
[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_01]: That's how the survival and basic badass podcast is making money.
[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Now we do have a lot of views and we're actually kicking ass.
[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_01]: So I think we got to kind of dig down into that and find out why we're not getting bigger advertisers and things going on.
[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, a listener, Greg too, we had decided to do this episode and then one of the listeners was like, hey, you know, have you seen this Russia thing and sent me over to the Andy McCarthy podcast and some other stuff.
[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, yeah, I better dig deep into this and Kevin already had some ideas going.
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So all right.
[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So here's what you missed. Here's what's going on.
[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_01]: CBS News.
[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know if they were the ones to break it. Do you know who broke it Kevin? You saw it on Newsweek.
[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, it came out from the Justice Department.
[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the Justice Department.
[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_00]: So basically went to all that.
[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Gotcha.
[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like when they did, it was about, I think it was about influencing the election.
[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I think the Justice Department was trying to create a political thing because here's why I say that.
[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yak like, oh, well Chuck, that's kind of conspiracy like the Justice Department is independent and whatever.
[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_01]: But they didn't accuse anybody who they were going to prosecute.
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And you're like, well, if you're not going to do anything.
[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh no, they're, they indicted three people already.
[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, three people who are not here though.
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_01]: No, they're here.
[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_00]: They're not Americans. They're here and they didn't register as Russian agents, which you have to do legally, which is the requirement.
[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Also, Russia today was sanctioned after they invaded Ukraine.
[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_00]: In the US.
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's see the entire and so according to Russia today after, after they were sanctioned.
[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_00]: He said, the editor-in-chief said an entire empire of covert projects designed to shake public opinion in Western audiences.
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Like that's their thing is like multiple facets did to influence them.
[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, West.
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, mind you, these are foreigners and I understand that.
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: But isn't that how a campaign works?
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, isn't that what people do?
[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And I understand the Russia has their agenda, but does it like Planned Parenthood have their agenda and push whatever does it?
[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you're working in a different country, right, you have to register.
[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I understand that.
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm with you, but I'm just saying they act like, oh, this is the big change, but it's not like George Soros is like, oh, you know, hey, I just want to disclose that, you know, it's me.
[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And people are like, yeah, but I feel so deceived.
[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_01]: It was Russia.
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Where are you though?
[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, did you not like see any of that coming?
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, the story is this one's from CBS News.
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_01]: The company is not named in the indictment.
[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Prosecutors said that it describes itself as a network of heterodox heterodox.
[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_01]: What the hell is that comment?
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_00]: That means that means divisive.
[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_01]: See, big college words that I mean, that's probably why we don't have the sponsors.
[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_01]: That's my guess, right?
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_01]: So commentators that focus on Western political and cultural issues and features six commentators as its talent.
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Tenet media uses the same phrase in its description on its website.
[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like they wanted somebody to find that the Department of Justice.
[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, could why would you use those weird words if not?
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know who uses that word heterodox in a sentence.
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I went on the Tenet media website there and it was like, that is definitely a,
[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_00]: that's why I knew what the word means because I had to look it up when I read it earlier.
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's not something you use around coffee.
[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't say to the wife.
[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, you know, Chuck and I are going to go ahead and read some of inspiration for people here.
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so Tenet media uses the same phrase in its description on its website and other details seem to align.
[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_01]: But not only that, the speakers and influencers that are on Tenet media,
[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_01]: all, well, three of them came forward and said, Hey, it's us.
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_01]: They're talking us.
[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, it kind of kind of let the cat out of the bag.
[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And I know Tim Pool had said in an interview that he said that they wanted him to willingly talk to, you know,
[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_01]: the Justice Department about something.
[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I know I sure as hell wouldn't do that without a lawyer present, but I probably wouldn't even do it if it was voluntary.
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I'd be like, yeah, like you want to help them.
[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't want to like help Russia undermine the country.
[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Like you don't want to be that guy.
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_01]: But on the flip side, I feel like just showing up, you could say anything that could get you into trouble.
[00:09:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, right.
[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Like anything you say and they'll tell you that like anytime you're doing an interview with any, you know,
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Justice Department people, any police officers, FBI agents, they'll tell you your Miranda rights.
[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Just so that when you just walked up, you knew you could get a lawyer.
[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Like we told you, you could get a lawyer and you didn't.
[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And now you're going to prison because it will be used against you in a court of law.
[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: It's right in there.
[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, I didn't pull up any pictures at Tim Pool or anything, but he's the guy who you always see him doing that.
[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like Joe Rogan, you know, with the headset sitting there doing an interview.
[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And he wears that black watch cap.
[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know.
[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's so he's somebody who like shows up in my feed fairly often.
[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_01]: But not somebody I really was paying a lot of attention to or knew who he was just because I don't know.
[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I just, I didn't know.
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And I didn't mean, I guess he has a podcast that people listen to, I guess there is podcast.
[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I say that like obviously I'm sure he gets a lot more downloads than we do.
[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_01]: That's not my point.
[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_01]: My point is that, you know, like it's not something in my radar, right?
[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Turns out there's a lot of podcasts that are really famous that I have no idea even exists.
[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'd be honest with you.
[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't listen to that many podcasts.
[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm not even watching the Jersey Shore.
[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm so out of touch that I don't even know what's going on.
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_01]: That's all I can tell you.
[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so basically what were they, how were they trying to influence it, Kevin?
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Like what were they even saying that like what happened?
[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_01]: What was the deal?
[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, so it according to these podcasters, let me just run through the list real quick.
[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And maybe you guys recognize some of them.
[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe some of them.
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you don't Dave Rubin, Benny Johnson, Lauren Southern, Matt Christensen and Taylor
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Hansen.
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Those are the, those are the six podcasters that are signed up with.
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_01]: If you had told me all those names, I would tell you I've never heard of any of them.
[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Dave Rubin I'm familiar with.
[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Dave.
[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't even know who Tim Pool was except when I like saw a video and a picture of him.
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, I've seen that guy.
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_01]: That is like, you know, so it's like that.
[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_01]: They said that, you know, I mean this guy, they said 16 million views that the one
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_01]: guy gets 8.7 million for another guy, 2.4 million followers.
[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_01]: So these are big influencers, right?
[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Compared to my thousand views on YouTube or whatever.
[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean views, subscribers, they sound pretty impressive because I'm not really that impressive
[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_01]: on YouTube.
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_01]: YouTube isn't been my world.
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to step up those games.
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_01]: It's why you guys need to like and subscribe to saying, right?
[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But you know, I feel like podcasts are a lot better because we can talk about
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_00]: whatever we want and how far you've tried it down.
[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_00]: How far YouTube videos get yanked?
[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_01]: They get yanked.
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_01]: We have to edit out half of it.
[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of ridiculous.
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's it.
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_01]: That's why we've always focused on, you know, the podcast.
[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm going to tell myself to feel better about, you know, not getting
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_01]: up.
[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_01]: But basically they were the Tim Pool, I guess was paid 400,000 a month plus $100,000
[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_01]: signing bonus.
[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And they were required to make four videos a week.
[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_01]: A month.
[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_01]: A month.
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_01]: No, a week is what I'm going to tell you.
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_01]: A week.
[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_01]: They were paid the, the four or sorry, 400,000 a month.
[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_01]: So it was 100,000 a week is what they were getting paid.
[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_01]: 10 bucks.
[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about the rest of them.
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's what I saw, you know, on the interwebs there.
[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_01]: But bottom line is, all right.
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_01]: So they're making all this money.
[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I saw all these like crazy left leaning.
[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I want to say news outlets, but they weren't like real news outlets.
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Like they were like, I don't know, breaking point, I think was one of
[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_01]: them and all this other stuff.
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And they acted all smug and dignified and like, you know, we would
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_01]: never take money from anybody to advertise.
[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_01]: So just, it's ridiculous for a media person to take advertising
[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_02]: to get paid to do there again.
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't sound right to me, but now again, we're not,
[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_01]: because they kept defining themselves as like respectable media.
[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know if I looked at Tim Pool and was like, Oh, this
[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_01]: guy's like respectable media.
[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Me and Kevin were talking before the show and he's like, yeah,
[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_01]: no, he's been in the business for a long time.
[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: That's correct.
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Is that right?
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's legitimately a journalist.
[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not, you know, he does a lot of like opinion pieces on his
[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_00]: podcast, but he's, you know, he has been involved in actual
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_00]: journalism in the past.
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's like Sean Hannity.
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It's an opinion.
[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Rush Limbaugh.
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It's an opinion.
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Now hopefully these guys are presenting facts and then,
[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_01]: and here's my take on the facts.
[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_01]: But you guys are really going to sit there and tell me with a
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_01]: straight face that CNN doesn't put out opinions on the regular
[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_01]: news shows.
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_01]: You're telling me that Fox News doesn't put out opinions on
[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_01]: their news shows.
[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I would beg to differ.
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Have you ever seen, have you ever seen the show Morning Joe?
[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_00]: It's on the morning.
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Scarborough, yeah.
[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Joe Scarborough on MSNBC.
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And Mika Brzezinski.
[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, whatever her name is.
[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever though.
[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: It's, I mean, it's all opinions.
[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Her dad is big to do, I guess.
[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Well they love Joe Scarborough because he was a Republican
[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_01]: like congressman or something at some point and they're like,
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_01]: see a Republican hates the Republicans.
[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, yeah.
[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_00]: He's not really a Republican now.
[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Again, that's one of those, oh, you're going to give me
[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_01]: a paycheck.
[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I can say whatever you want.
[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I can have whatever opinions you want to have.
[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_01]: That I feel like, you know, a lot of Republicans are
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_01]: really, you know, there isn't much difference between a Republican
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_01]: and a Democrat in their heart.
[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, I feel like I see a lot of, a lot of these assholes
[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_00]: are really like they put their party above their country.
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Like shitty, that's shitty.
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, if you're the head of the Republican Party,
[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_00]: that's fair.
[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_00]: If you're the head of the Democrat Party,
[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_00]: that's a reasonable thing to do.
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you're just a politician that's a Republican,
[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_00]: you should really be putting your country first.
[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I, Kevin, I see that.
[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, so they basically were paying these guys.
[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it was around $10 million is what they paid all these guys
[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_00]: so far total.
[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And somebody is somebody, my wife said, I was talking to her about it.
[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_00]: She said, that's ridiculous.
[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_00]: That's way too much money.
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Why would they spend that much money?
[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, how much does it cost for a fighter jet for Russia?
[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, how much money does it cost?
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, when a Patriot missile that the United States sent over there
[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_00]: should stand one of their jets.
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_00]: It costs a lot more than $10 million.
[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not really like money poorly spent.
[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_00]: It's well said.
[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And dude, you know what?
[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_01]: They probably just print that shit.
[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, we'll just get out.
[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, because that's what our government does.
[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_01]: We're like, I just printed another.
[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_00]: And inflation is getting pretty out of hand in Russia right now.
[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So apparently that is what they're doing.
[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, hey, we'll just get because that money tomorrow is only worth
[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_01]: $5 million here.
[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So whatever it's got to spend it now, spend it while you got it.
[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's what I say.
[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing is people, if you can really influence something,
[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_01]: it's worth it.
[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Now again, so it creates a distrust for the Ukraine war.
[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about that for a minute or two.
[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Like early on, we kind of, we did some episodes that were Kevin
[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_01]: was more anti than I was, but we were reasonably open to the Ukraine war.
[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_01]: The big thing that I always notice is America doesn't have
[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_01]: the staying power or the will for any kind of war.
[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_01]: We have like a let's go do a strike kick and then we're done.
[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_01]: If we're not going to do that, we have no follow through whatsoever.
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you guys remember Vietnam.
[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_01]: They probably like wiped that out of the textbooks.
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they talk about that in school anymore.
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_00]: But I mean, you know, we did have several 20 year wars in Afghanistan
[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_00]: and Iraq that are still, they're winding down.
[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_00]: We're still in Iraq, right?
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, no, Kamala says no.
[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_01]: We're not anywhere right now.
[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_01]: We're completely returned.
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_01]: But that's the thing.
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Like we have no willpower, right?
[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I know you're saying, well, as an individual, I do.
[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm very, you know, I'm hard.
[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I fight for the second amendment every morning.
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I wake up and piss bullets and, you know, that I get that.
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I understand you guys are hardcore because, you know,
[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm hardcore.
[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're all in.
[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_01]: But as far as the, as far as the country as a whole,
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_01]: we're not really down for sticking with the war.
[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_01]: But you know, I'll give that caveat.
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I was kind of like, all right, the way they're presenting it,
[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I see why we would defend it, but I should have kind of given it
[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_01]: a little more thought.
[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think I kind of did mention that we don't always
[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_01]: have staying power in the beginning.
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, I think that may have come out at some point,
[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_01]: but either way, it doesn't matter.
[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Bottom line is, I understand.
[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I kind of supported it.
[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_01]: And now I'm like, all right, this is just bullshit.
[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_01]: We're just throwing money for nothing.
[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Now here's the thing.
[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I will say there's a quote from Putin that's a little crazy.
[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Check this out.
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Putin said, and to be honest, this one statement on its own,
[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I think is very 100% accurate.
[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And I agree with does not mean I support Putin.
[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to have to get a paycheck for that.
[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying if you guys, if you wanted me to be like,
[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_01]: you know, Putin's 100% right here and there's no caveat.
[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I need $100,000.
[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying this.
[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what to do, right?
[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Email me will work something out.
[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_01]: But Putin said, if Ukraine fires NATO weapons
[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_01]: into Russian territory, he would consider the US
[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_01]: and NATO directly involved and therefore at war with Russia.
[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And to be honest, if you went and gave Iran nuclear missiles
[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_01]: and said, hey, you know, I know you guys are going to use these
[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_01]: to shoot into the US.
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I know that I'm okay with it.
[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_01]: But you know, I wash my hands of it.
[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I would be pissed.
[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I would be like, wait a minute.
[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_01]: That's an act of war.
[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Now I know our current cowards in the government might be
[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_01]: like, well, I don't think they really meant it.
[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_01]: They're kind of big and scary.
[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That looks like an expensive war.
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Not sure we want to do that.
[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_01]: That might actually hurt me.
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I mean, that is what I think would what would happen.
[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_00]: We wouldn't get involved with with, we'd say a lot of crazy shit.
[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Like Putin says a lot of crazy shit.
[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_00]: But just like Putin, we wouldn't do jack shit about it.
[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, and I don't think he's going to do a goddamn thing.
[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_01]: But that is what he said.
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And I know you don't want to put a dog in a corner, you know,
[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_01]: and see what happens.
[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I fully spoke on a war with Russia just because, you know,
[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like we've been getting real fucking soft in this country.
[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_01]: We are getting soft.
[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_01]: We need a little something to toughen people up.
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, we're not getting paid by Russia.
[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Apparently we have not said enough good shit about Russia.
[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And maybe we can step up our game.
[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, maybe we could change our tune.
[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_00]: But what about Iran?
[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_00]: So are we getting paid by Iran?
[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to pay by Iran either.
[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_01]: But we're open.
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_00]: So Iran's been running hack and leak spearfishing campaigns
[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_00]: and retaliation of former president president's actions.
[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he was in office against it that he ran a gene,
[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_00]: including the assassination of general Salamani.
[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_00]: You remember that guy?
[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So what they've been doing is sending emails with downloads,
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, links that you can click to people in his campaign.
[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And then if you click this link, it basically is a worm and,
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, collects data and sends it back.
[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_00]: So they got a few of Trump's, Trump's election campaign information.
[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, luckily nobody's ever hacked the DNC servers.
[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's good.
[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, they basically, Iran basically got both of them.
[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Iran got the Democrats and the Republicans.
[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_00]: They tried to actually sell stuff to the Democrats.
[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_00]: But they said that most of those emails actually went to spam
[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_00]: and nobody even saw them.
[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_00]: So they didn't really even get the offer to buy the shit.
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Whenever I watch like the hacker movies,
[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_01]: they always take like a bunch of USB drives and just throw them
[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_01]: in the parking lot outside.
[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_01]: We're like, oh, I wonder what's on here.
[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And then go check it out.
[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_01]: That's maybe a thing.
[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, you know, if Iran wanted to sponsor this podcast,
[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_00]: we could do work something out, $100,000 a month.
[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And I wouldn't even talk about that stuff that we did.
[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_00]: No.
[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_00]: No.
[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_00]: You wouldn't even bring it up again.
[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_01]: How much, Kevin, what's your price to not say that Xi looks
[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_01]: like Winnie the Pooh?
[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean, honestly, that's been a long running thing for me.
[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that I could put a price on that anymore.
[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I feel like, I feel like at this point we've shit
[00:23:38] [SPEAKER_00]: on China so much that that's out the window.
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_00]: If we stopped shooting on China,
[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_00]: it would be very obvious to anybody that listens to the podcast.
[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, maybe that's what they want.
[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just not that we completely sell out and go the other way.
[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_01]: But what if we just back off a little bit?
[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I didn't have to bring it up.
[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't have to mention Winnie the Pooh in this episode.
[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, we didn't have to talk about it at all.
[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_01]: For $10,000, I could have dropped that whole line
[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_01]: of conversation right there.
[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_00]: So in the beginning of April, New York Times reported
[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_00]: that covert Chinese accounts are masquerading online
[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_00]: as American supporters of former President Trump,
[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_00]: promoting conspiracy theories, stoking division,
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_00]: domestic divisions, and attacking President Biden
[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_00]: ahead of the election in November.
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_00]: That seems strange to me because I always thought
[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_00]: that China was anti-Trump and pro-Biden.
[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Because Trump did put all those tariffs on China.
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, he really didn't treat China very well.
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_00]: But China is primarily focusing on Canada for some reason.
[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Apparently they're easier for them to get involved there.
[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_01]: They're already socialists, so it kind of works.
[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it kind of works out with them.
[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, China, let me know, bro.
[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Send me a check and we'll see what we can work out.
[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, you know that's it.
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, Price is right, the flight's tonight,
[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_01]: is all I'm saying.
[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like a lot of the election interference
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_00]: is we've got to go in for both sides.
[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So it kind of balances out, you know what I mean?
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, we've got foreign countries supporting Biden
[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_00]: and Harris and we've got people supporting Trump
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_00]: and kind of balances out.
[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, a little bit more with the payoffs to like Tenant Media
[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_01]: and all that.
[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_01]: So they actually created a bunch of fake websites.
[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_01]: They took down, I think they said at least 11 websites.
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_01]: What they were was it would be like FoxNews.CX was one of them.
[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_01]: One of them was through the Washington Post
[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_01]: and it would kind of mirror it.
[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_01]: But it would have like fake stories.
[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_01]: So that was kind of cool, you know, it went through.
[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_00]: You'd follow a link and you'd think you'd be reading,
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_00]: you know, The Washington Times, The Washington Post.
[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is we kind of put them in a corner
[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_01]: because like as you mentioned earlier in the episode,
[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_01]: when Ukraine, when the war kind of started,
[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_01]: we actually shut down Russia today, right?
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Or it was just called RT.
[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_01]: It was Russia today and it was RT.
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_01]: And remember that was like, you were like, well, yeah,
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_01]: but these are the real stories that our fake media wouldn't tell us.
[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Remember that's how it was kind of the theme that they built up.
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And according to the Kremlin, Russia is just trying to tell the truth.
[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, hey, it's funny because it was called
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Operation Doppelganger.
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_00]: And like I said, we will mention that last week.
[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, believe it or not, it's not just because of
[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_01]: evil Trump that we're having this problem.
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_01]: This is going on in the EU as well.
[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, Russia has been targeting Germany, France and Poland.
[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's one against the European Union,
[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_01]: like trying to discourage that whole thing, break it up.
[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And two, it's also again about the Ukraine war there and having,
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_01]: you know, the European Union support for it and very anti.
[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of this stuff is going on.
[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, Russia today or RT metaband all Russia from Russia
[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_01]: from all platforms.
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Now what's weird is though, Metta who, you know, owns
[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Facebook and a ton, you know, Instagram all that crap.
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_01]: But what's crazy is they had it where Russia said,
[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_01]: we're banning all Facebook and Instagram in Russia.
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't want that shit here.
[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And then Metta came out and said,
[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_01]: we're banning Russia from all Metta, Facebook and Instagram.
[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And you're like, well, wait a minute,
[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_01]: like it kind of was already a thing.
[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of a weird retaliation thing.
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Russia today RT, it's funny because the broadcasters would
[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_01]: actually say, you know, they're saying that we're being influenced
[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_01]: by the Kremlin and the reporter was like,
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_01]: we only answer to the Kremlin.
[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Every story we put out is approved by the Kremlin.
[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Or we don't put it out.
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_01]: You're an idiot if you think otherwise.
[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Because our government were in line that this is,
[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_01]: right?
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_00]: The government runs RT.
[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And you're an idiot if you think otherwise.
[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's what they were saying on their channel, you know,
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_01]: so it was kind of like, how would you know, you know,
[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_01]: but again, now mind you these guys, the big wife became a crime
[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_01]: was they didn't disclose that they were Russian agents.
[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's where Kevin's like, hey,
[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_01]: but that's where it was a problem.
[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But they're, what you got to remember is none of these guys
[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_01]: at Tenant Media believed that they were working for Russia,
[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_01]: or at least that's what they're saying.
[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And I believe that.
[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_00]: They all say that they don't know.
[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And even the Justice Department said that like,
[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_00]: this was a hidden thing.
[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_01]: One of the girls actually, the wife,
[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_01]: remember they say it was a couple and they're like not named,
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_01]: but somehow everybody knows their names.
[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_01]: The girl worked at Blaze Media,
[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_01]: which is Glenn Beck's whole news thing.
[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_01]: But again, does that make you look negative at Glenn Beck's thing?
[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_01]: No, it's not.
[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_01]: She, how hard, oh, I got in.
[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I infiltrated.
[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00]: The thing that's not clear to me is if she is actually Russian
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_00]: or actually an American that's working for Russians.
[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And what, you know, what's the price?
[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, what is the price for, I mean, ultimately,
[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_00]: what is the price for betraying your country
[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_00]: in whatever format you're doing with?
[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_00]: How much does it cost me to like,
[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_00]: because I mean, I remember a FBI agent
[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_00]: maybe 10 years ago saying how cheap he got.
[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he got arrested because he was leaking information to Russia
[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_00]: and he like did it for $200,000 in diamonds.
[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Like $200,000.
[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_00]: That's not a lot of money dude.
[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_00]: That's not like moved to Brazil.
[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_00]: What are you off for?
[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Like 10 grand.
[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like 10 grand.
[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Like really now, but here's the thing.
[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_01]: So the problem is that all the things that I would be willing
[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_01]: to say for Russia or whatever are things that I'm saying anyway.
[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's the problem.
[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's, that's the problem with these guys, right?
[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause they were already saying,
[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Russia is, that's why they got hired.
[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Russia's paying Tim Pool to be anti-Ukraine war.
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_01]: We're not getting paid by Russia and we're anti-Ukraine war.
[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Or I am.
[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to speak for you and put words in your mouth.
[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's not really fair.
[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I,
[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Now should,
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Here, should Russia have moved in and attacked Ukraine?
[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_01]: No.
[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Is Russia 100% wrong?
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I can say that all day long.
[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I have no problem with that.
[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Is Russia an evil scary monster?
[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying we're broke as shit and maybe we shouldn't be
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: spending money that we don't have.
[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And why are we the only ones footing the bill all the time
[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_01]: for bullshit?
[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And,
[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Zelensky maybe is not the best at appropriating the money to
[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_01]: the appropriate sources all the time.
[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm saying.
[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm saying,
[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't like to be wasteful.
[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm against government waste.
[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Now by default that puts the Ukraine war at odds with me.
[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Do I think Russia's fucked up and it's slimy as shit to go fuck
[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_01]: with people and invade?
[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And America used to be a force for good.
[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_01]: But if we were that,
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_01]: We could just kind of flex our muscles and be like,
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, you don't knock that shit off.
[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to shut you down.
[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And that would be the end of it.
[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_01]: But we're not that anymore.
[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_01]: You know,
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_01]: We're kind of little cowardly as a country from,
[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_01]: and I'm speaking of the government, right?
[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,
[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Obviously red blooded Americans in our heart were like,
[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_01]: fuck you, kill them.
[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm good.
[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm that guy, right?
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm down.
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll send our boys over and kick ass,
[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_01]: but I don't want to send our boys over and kick ass
[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_01]: if we're not going to follow through.
[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Nobody wants to Vietnam.
[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, nobody wants a,
[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, you got to go.
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_01]: But if you accidentally shoot a civilian or whatever,
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_01]: no,
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about rolling through and like fucking yield,
[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_01]: motherfucker.
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm saying?
[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_01]: That's where I'm at.
[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean,
[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_00]: that's, I mean,
[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_00]: that really is how you should be fighting war.
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_00]: any American war should be fought total war or not.
[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Or don't, you know,
[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_01]: shit or get off the pot, right?
[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the whole thing that it comes down to.
[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And maybe that's where I get into trouble.
[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_01]: But,
[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,
[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe half of you just like dropped off and we're like,
[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, I'm not,
[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't get behind Chuck.
[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_01]: He's crazy.
[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_01]: But,
[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,
[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_01]: that's where we're at is,
[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,
[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_01]: hey, let's do it or don't, you know?
[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And we don't have money for bullshit.
[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't have money to just pay for everybody.
[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of the immigration thing.
[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_01]: You know,
[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_01]: we want to be open and be like, yeah.
[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, cool legally,
[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_01]: but we can't pay for everybody's shit when you come here.
[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_01]: You know,
[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Venezuela is unloading their prisoners and their gangs
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_01]: and be like, yeah,
[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_01]: go to America.
[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't want to pay for you anymore.
[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And we're like, hey,
[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_01]: here's your free debit card.
[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_01]: What the fuck is that?
[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Like why,
[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_01]: we have people here,
[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_01]: veterans can't get, you know,
[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_01]: healthcare, all this stuff.
[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And we're like, yeah,
[00:34:27] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah, you know,
[00:34:27] [SPEAKER_01]: you guys sucks to be you.
[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, we can't help you.
[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no money.
[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no money for you.
[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_01]: But for all this other stuff,
[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_01]: that's ridiculous.
[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Right?
[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like the system gets overwhelmed
[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_01]: and then we're like shut down,
[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_01]: stop everything.
[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And it kind of puts us in this position where you're like,
[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't be charitable because now are we being charitable
[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_01]: when we're just like dumping these people into a town
[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_01]: and hey, you got nothing.
[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Or, you know,
[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_01]: there's one of two scenarios happening.
[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Either we're giving them a ton of money
[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_01]: and that's insane.
[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Or we're not giving them any money
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_01]: and they feel like they have to go
[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_01]: and rob a Walmart or whatever and destroy it.
[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_01]: But or take over an apartment complex
[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_01]: because they can't live.
[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what's happening.
[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It's one or the other, right?
[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Either we're giving them money
[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_01]: or we're not giving them money
[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and either scenario it's not ending well.
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I do see a lot of stuff on social media.
[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Again, it could have been Russia.
[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I don't even know,
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_01]: but I see pictures of Walmart's with,
[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_01]: sorry, like targets with crap,
[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_01]: strewn all about the parking lot
[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_01]: and cars smashed and videos of people
[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_01]: like driving around trying to hit people in cars
[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_01]: and weird things.
[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Could it have been staged in Russia?
[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess it's possible.
[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, they could have gone to Target in Russia.
[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if there's one there.
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's say it used to be,
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_00]: it used to be you could be discerning
[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_00]: and research, you know,
[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_00]: research stories that you read
[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_00]: and confirm or deny whether or not something is accurate.
[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_00]: But no matter what you look up,
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_00]: make something up in your head
[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_00]: and type that into Google
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_00]: and you'll find a new story
[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_00]: that's saying that that's happening.
[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Whether it is or not.
[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not.
[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's the thing.
[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And you find both sides of the argument
[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and it's so easy to Photoshop things
[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_01]: or take things out of context, right?
[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh look, Kamala Harris just said this.
[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's really from her last campaign
[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_01]: and everybody knows you're a completely different person
[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_01]: four years from now.
[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, I don't really know that.
[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that your core is kind of your core,
[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_01]: but, you know, if you're a spineless weasel,
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_01]: it probably does change over four years.
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Change your opinion every day.
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you could wake up and be like,
[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_01]: oh, I did get that check in the mail today.
[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And this is what I'm about.
[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, hey, you do you, right?
[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's really what it comes down to.
[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, I feel like I feel like we're basically shopping
[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_00]: around right now with this podcast.
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_00]: We're shopping around looking for some new sponsors.
[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_00]: And I for one am I think that we should be getting some money
[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_00]: from Boeing.
[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Joshua Dean and John Barnett were not in fact assassinated
[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_00]: by Boeing for being whistleblowers.
[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_01]: So what you guys want to do is you want to send that check
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_01]: to Yeager Tactical.
[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And so we'll get it straightened out.
[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_01]: It worked out.
[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Send us a check.
[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll work it out.
[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it definitely does, you know, it does seem until
[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I get that check, it does seem that there is no fascinating
[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_00]: people that are talking bad about.
[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_01]: But you could easily be convinced.
[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they send you a fact sheet along with that check
[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_01]: stapled to it.
[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Things that I could know about and then tell people.
[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm talking about, you know?
[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we're always, I think though, we're just about to
[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_01]: reach out to sponsors.
[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And now they're going to be like, I don't know.
[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_01]: That guys.
[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I've got, I've got a new one here that I think
[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_00]: that I'm a DuPont chemical.
[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Better living through chemistry.
[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Who doesn't make chemistry?
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_00]: They invest about, about $10 million.
[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Now I should say that you can't actually find an actual
[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_00]: number of how much they actually spend on advertising.
[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not disclosed.
[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_00]: But from what I gather, it's about 10, 10 million
[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_00]: dollars, a little bit of more than 10 million dollars a
[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_00]: year.
[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_00]: They make about 12 to $15 billion a year.
[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_00]: DuPont chemical.
[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Now DuPont chemical actually, we're creating these great
[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_00]: line of products.
[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_00]: They were able to come up with a chemical that they
[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_00]: made.
[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_00]: It's called a PFOA or C8, which is a chain that has
[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_00]: eight carbon molecules, carbon atoms, and then a
[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_00]: fluoride atom.
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Who doesn't like fluoride?
[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we're made of carbon, Kevin.
[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_00]: This is great stuff.
[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_00]: This is great stuff.
[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So it helped.
[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_00]: It's really great at waterproofing.
[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_00]: So they were putting out on like clothes, rain boots,
[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_00]: carpet slugs, you know, the carpets and the rugs
[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_00]: that your kids crawl around on.
[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Teflon that you cook your food in.
[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'll put my eggs in there.
[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Yup.
[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_00]: All that sort of stuff.
[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Now this PFOA, they knew it caused like severe
[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_00]: problems with people.
[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Like real bad shit.
[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_00]: And we've never talked about this on this podcast.
[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_00]: We never even talked about PFOAs at all.
[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know why they haven't paid us.
[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_00]: So this PFOA, it's what they call forever
[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_00]: chemical.
[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, last forever.
[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't break down on its own.
[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, two or 3,000 years it takes for these
[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_00]: chemicals to actually break down.
[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And since they knew it was dangerous, the
[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Department of Health, Department of Environmental
[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Conservation, they didn't know that though
[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_00]: because they didn't, you know, they didn't
[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_00]: really know it existed or to test for it.
[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_00]: So since they didn't know, it was legal.
[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_00]: It was perfectly legal for DuPont to dump that
[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_00]: wherever they wanted to.
[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_00]: It's infected most water sources in the United
[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_00]: States and it causes liver disease, high
[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_00]: cholesterol, birth defects, testicular cancer,
[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_00]: thyroid disease, low birth rates.
[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of great stuff.
[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't even want hostilals though.
[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Like we haven't, you didn't even have to buy
[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_00]: these products and 96% of Americans.
[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_01]: You got benefits anyway?
[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, 96% of Americans have detectable levels
[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_00]: in their blood and it was free.
[00:41:16] [SPEAKER_00]: You got this for free from them.
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_00]: You already have it.
[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't even have to go out and buy this stuff.
[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to ingest it.
[00:41:23] [SPEAKER_00]: It's already in your blood causing
[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_00]: massive health problems for you and
[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_00]: there's no safe level.
[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And yes, so they ended up
[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_00]: $1.18 billion settlement that you didn't
[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_00]: get any money of.
[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_00]: That didn't go to you.
[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_01]: The government probably needed money, right?
[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I mean some people that ended up dying
[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_00]: from these chemicals.
[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_00]: They got $400.
[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's good.
[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_00]: That's good.
[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So DuPont still in business and still making
[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_00]: tons of money and nothing really happened to him.
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what we did talk about?
[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_00]: We never talked about this and DuPont
[00:42:07] [SPEAKER_00]: never sent us any money.
[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_01]: You know who we did talk about and maybe
[00:42:12] [SPEAKER_01]: should have sent us a preemptive check
[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_01]: was Bear Asperin.
[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_01]: The one where they went around and infected
[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_01]: everybody with AIDS because you know, whatever.
[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Just look that up if you're doubting me
[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_01]: on that one.
[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_01]: It was like 20,000 people.
[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean a lot of people.
[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean in the scheme of things,
[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_01]: they made a blood thinner and they were
[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_01]: like well you know somebody who was working on it
[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_01]: had AIDS and somehow it got in there
[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_01]: or we used them to produce some of the things
[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_01]: and we're like we know it's kind of sketchy
[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_01]: but we'll send it out anyway because it probably
[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_01]: won't be that bad.
[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And don't worry, the people weren't American.
[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, see they weren't American Kevin.
[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So it didn't really.
[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah they fucked those people right?
[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_01]: They weren't even people at that point.
[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, Slobren had a good point.
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_00]: You know we need to have some shell companies
[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_00]: between us so we have plausible deniability.
[00:43:11] [SPEAKER_00]: That's how Tenet did it.
[00:43:12] [SPEAKER_00]: They were getting their money from a company in Turkey.
[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So I mean, you know that's,
[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that's how we need to work it out is that
[00:43:20] [SPEAKER_00]: you know we have to make a company.
[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_00]: It's money laundering, you know?
[00:43:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And we talked about money laundering on this podcast.
[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_00]: It's really easy to do.
[00:43:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, okay.
[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_00]: It's super easy.
[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so you know, I mean this is just,
[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_00]: these are just some ideas out there of any company
[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_00]: that's listening to us that they could, you know,
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_00]: help sponsor our podcast.
[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Kevin, you realize that you pretty much completely ruined
[00:43:48] [SPEAKER_01]: any chance of us ever getting a sponsor again
[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_01]: because now they're going to be like...
[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'll be fair, DuPont never was sending us money anyway
[00:43:59] [SPEAKER_00]: and I think that's bullshit because like I said,
[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_00]: we never even talked about this before.
[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_00]: We haven't talked about this, you know?
[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_00]: All the years we've been doing this podcast,
[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_00]: we never talked about DuPont and their poisoning
[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_00]: of everybody in the United States with chemicals
[00:44:17] [SPEAKER_00]: that they can't get rid of and things they can't care.
[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_01]: There you have it.
[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know.
[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_01]: That's all I got, man.
[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_01]: We pretty much ruined any chance of a sponsorship
[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_01]: here on the Survival and Basic Badass Podcast.
[00:44:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying.
[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, you guys have show ideas, questions, concerns.
[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Email us at preppingbadassatgmail.com.
[00:44:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Also if you guys get a chance, rate and review the podcast.
[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Either where you listen to the podcast or on YouTube someplace,
[00:44:49] [SPEAKER_00]: make some comments, give us some positive reviews.
[00:44:52] [SPEAKER_00]: If you hate us, tell us you hate us
[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_00]: but still give us the five-star rate.
[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, right.
[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Five-star rating and then tell us what you don't like
[00:45:00] [SPEAKER_01]: or what you do like.
[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_01]: It's okay to say nice things.
[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Just more about me than Kevin.
[00:45:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I kind of thrive on that.
[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Kevin.
[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_00]: People shitting at me.
[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_01]: There was some movie way back in the day
[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_01]: where he's like, the guy's like feeding on the hate
[00:45:18] [SPEAKER_01]: and he's like, more, you know, keeping...
[00:45:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Was it Star Wars?
[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Was it The Emperor?
[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there you go.
[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It was The Emperor in one of the...
[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I say original Star Wars.
[00:45:31] [SPEAKER_01]: One of the first three and he's like, you know,
[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Luke is like the more he's like...
[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Let the hate flow.
[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, yeah, let it flow through you.
[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, maybe I'm some sort of a sith lord.
[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know but I do kind of feed on that shit.
[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm not nerdy enough to know the full details
[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_01]: but I'm sure one of you can help us out in the comments.
[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, you guys are awesome.
[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_01]: We appreciate you sticking around and like I said,
[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_01]: things you want to hear about, you know,
[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe we'll lay off Russia for a week or two because, you know...
[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll see if those checks come in or not.
[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm saying.
[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Just send us a check and it'll be the things you don't see
[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_01]: that we're getting paid for.
[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_01]: How about that?
[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Every time we don't do an episode about China or Russia
[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_01]: every week, you'll be like, you know,
[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I bet you they got a check this week.
[00:46:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Just saying that could be on the table.
[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_01]: We can completely forget that anywhere outside the US exists.
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, hey, if New York sent me a big enough check,
[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I could forget New York exists.
[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
[00:46:37] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Ghostbusters too.
[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Ghostbusters too?
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:46:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, with that, I would say stay safe
