What Went Wrong With The U.S. Secret Service Protection Of Trump

[00:00:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, as always it'd be awesome you guys like subscribe you know do the things you need to do but uh yeah we're gonna get right into it you know a lot of new stuff.

[00:00:29] [SPEAKER_03]: A lot of new information came out about this whole Trump assassination attempt and I have some new stuff that I am certain you haven't seen before so we're gonna get into it.

[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna go through timeline we're gonna talk about what type of guns both the snipers and the shooter and I know you're dying and know what kind of optics the shooter had because I haven't seen it anywhere and I have the inside scoop.

[00:00:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Also you know let's find out why they weren't covering that roof right we gotta figure out what's going on and we might even talk about a little bit of DEI that hold diversity inclusion thing happening.

[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_03]: There's some stuff going on so well it's not waste any time let's get right into it.

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_03]: So the first thing right about 609 this is the timeline kind of the breakdown 609 is when the witnesses in the crowd started being like hey you know we see a guy up on the roof over there.

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, at that moment you know how we hear the story of the cop who kind of climbed up there and he pointed the gun at him and he backed back down.

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Well that was actually two people went over there it was a secret service agent and a cop.

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And I think it was actually the cop but I'm not certain who climbed up but the two of them were together then they checked it out and you know people give a hard time oh you know why would you come back down there's a shooter up well I'm not getting shot in the face that's not going to help anybody right.

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_03]: That doesn't solve any problems.

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_03]: That doesn't help to be honest that's probably what had this guy rushing and maybe contributed to him missing the shot but I got to say it really seems like Trump turning his head is the only reason he missed the shot.

[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot of videos that the guy was pretty right on.

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, just an inch to the right now would have been alright so 610 this guy starts shooting.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And then by 620 they're off the stage and moving by.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_03]: First off I got to say I saw this moment after it happened like I was actually out getting pizza and I was in the pizza place and it was on TV and it was kind of like moments ago.

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And you know and they first the first thing I saw on the screen was all the Secret Service kind of hovered over them and you know protecting them and then he came up with the fight fight.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And then but they showed the replay a second ago and immediately in my mind like it was funny because I went out to the car and told the wife I was like oh you know what you know somebody tried to shoot the president and I was like there's blood on his ear but I don't know if you know if that's because he hit his head.

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_03]: When the Secret Service jumped on him or what's going on but whatever I come back in and they show the replay of the moments right.

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I saw his hand go up to his ear and I'm like they shot him.

[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean that hit him and you know obviously you could tell right away didn't look like it was going to be a fatal shot or anything but you pretty clear.

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_03]: And but I got to say I was impressed by the composure of this guy.

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean he didn't act like a little bitch and that's what a lot of people tend to go to.

[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_03]: And when you see you know when the they say what the brown stuff hits the fan I can say shicks I'm a grown ass man I do what I want right.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_03]: But when the shit hits the fan you kind of see you test the metal right of people and you decide you know what they're made of I got to say he came through with that part pretty impressive.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_03]: He didn't react ridiculous he just kind of you know like it was now like it kind of looked like a beast on you know kind of the way he jumped and reacted.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Now the big concern that everybody has is did everybody else react like adults and grown ass people I think we're going to get into that a little bit more in a second.

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_03]: But let me kind of finish out the timeline of events. So next we have well let me back up a little bit here.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Sure.

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_01]: So the first shot was fired at exactly 611 and 33 seconds and the second and third shot were fired at 611 34 seconds.

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah it was quick.

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Now it almost looked like when I watched some of the replay videos and I have one actually that's in the show notes that I'm going to link to that has all the different trajectory angles of each one.

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_03]: You guys really want to check it out and it wasn't mine I actually saw another girl who did a great job with it.

[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if she stole the video from somewhere or if she put it all together.

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_03]: If she did it's really impressive but it has the angles of every bullet and where they went and how it hit each person.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I put that in the show notes so you guys will be able to check that out after and you're going to appreciate that.

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_03]: But to me watching that it sounds like you hear one shot that doesn't hit his ear and then immediately hits the ear with the next one.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Like you don't know what you're hearing there's a lot going on and it's a lot.

[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Also it can take a second you know and that's all the difference was between the shots.

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It can take a second so that hits you and by the time you you know react you don't necessarily react immediately.

[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Now the shot that actually went and nicked his ear went right through his ear and hit the guy in the side.

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Not the guy who died from the headshot but the guy who ended up catching it on the side.

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_03]: He gets hit with that same bullet that hits Trump in the air.

[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Corey Comperator that was his name.

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_03]: So next let's talk about the shooter.

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_03]: What's going on there.

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_03]: So was it Matthew Crooks.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Thomas Matthew Crooks is the guy's name.

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Now they have a events leading up to and this is from CNN and he they said on Friday this guy the secret service put out that on Friday he went to a shooting.

[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Range where he was a member and practiced firing law enforcement told CNN right the next morning he went to Home Depot.

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_03]: This is Saturday morning where he bought a five foot ladder and he went to the gun store bought 50 rounds of ammunition.

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Then Crooks drove his Hanah Sonata about an hour north joining the thousands of people around the region who flocked the Trump rally blah blah blah.

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_03]: And then remember about an hour before the shooting they saw him standing around out back with a range finder and they thought it was suspicious and they noted him as a person of interest.

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_03]: But again if you're really lightly staffed somebody doing something weird like that.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Is it binoculars is it a range finder.

[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean I guess people who are in the tactical world.

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean I'm recognizing you know.

[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But I think most most people I don't think it would be weird for somebody in the audience.

[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Like you said right I mean go to an event like to do.

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Right right and that's it and maybe those are his viewing scope so I think they kind of dismissed it.

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Now so he goes out he gets up on that roof it's still unclear I've heard so many versions about there's a fixed ladder at the back he brought the ladder now I know we know that he did buy a ladder.

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Right it is very concerned that he did not bring the ladder out of the vehicle was in the vehicle.

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_01]: 100% I agree and I heard that he climbed up on an AC unit.

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_03]: But that's also like not I think that's the most likely of what happened now.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean we're going to kind of break down all the epic failures of the Secret Service and I think there were some.

[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean bottom line anytime somebody gets a shot off that's a failure right.

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean we can pretend all we want you know you can tell people well you know Trump Trump didn't die so he did all right they did good job.

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Well not really because I mean that was just a chance that he didn't die.

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah he turned his head right before he got shot I don't think that it was the Secret Services.

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it wasn't their fucking skills that kept him alive.

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_03]: So 20 minutes or well yeah I think it was like an hour they said actually before the event.

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_03]: So Matthew Crooks now he was on the roof and I got a nice picture of the layout of the whole thing.

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of crazy so it was weird initially in my mind I thought that the shooter was on the right from some of the pictures that I had seen.

[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_03]: But well I guess he was on Trump's right but not from the audience right.

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_03]: You always think of things like you're sitting in a car looking forward and I'm an audience member so you know whatever right.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: But as your yeah.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Trump's right.

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Right audience is left.

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_03]: He's out there.

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_03]: The shooters we saw with the tripod.

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Now they're actually on the on the roof right behind Trump.

[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Whereas way too you know Trump's right the audience is left is the shooter and to me that's a reasonably flat roof.

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean I would actually describe that as a flat roof and I was kind of disappointed the head of the Secret Service that crazy lady.

[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Kimberly whoever said that that building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And so you know there's a safety factor that would be considered there that we couldn't or sorry that we wouldn't want to put somebody up on a slope roof.

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And so you know the decision was made to secure the building from the inside.

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_03]: That's that Kimberly cheetah and that's the most dumb ass shit that I've ever heard in my entire life.

[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Now having so believe it or not there actually was a sniper team.

[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Now these were police snipers inside the building right underneath where the shooter was.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And they have to point out that roof.

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I have a picture of a cow.

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_03]: You've probably seen it all over the Internet standing on a similar roof that he climbed up on.

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_03]: You know I just can't feel like the train Secret Service agents and you know to be honest they have like ladders with hooks that if you have a steep slope roof you can kind of throw away.

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_03]: You know you can put it on there so that you can kind of lay on the ladder and you know have a little more security.

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_03]: You could break up a harness of some sort.

[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Now I was told that additional snipers were only provided the day before they did have a sniper team but two more from the police were provided later.

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Now I actually it's my understanding that the sniper team that everybody thinks took the shot were police snipers.

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_03]: These are not in Secret Service was my understanding and what was told to me now it was Secret Service snipers who shot Matthew Thomas Matthew Crooks but it wasn't these guys.

[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't the guys with the tripod.

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Now I know you hear the shots and then you see the guys head pop up.

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_03]: What I was told is it's actually because they thought they were being shot at is why he popped his head up because he kind of heard the bullet crack like right over his head it seemed like and was like oh but the shot.

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_03]: They have a 25 times scope that guy.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_03]: That guy the one did it actually had a night force scope if I remember right I'm checking it out here yeah it was a night force scope and he was shooting a basically a remington 700 300 wind mag but that isn't what what the weapon was that actually took out.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Thomas I don't know why his name keeps saluting me Thomas Matthew Crooks right believe it or not the sniper was using I have the the official the Secret Service guy was using in SR 25 chambered in 308 which is a gas gun.

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Now this isn't a picture of the actual gun so basically it's an AR 10 that set up for suppressors and just a little more premium all around.

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_03]: In AR 10 is like in AR 15 with 308 right instead of 556 it's 308.

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know those are the basics right of it when you want an adult size bullet now you're also probably wondering you're like well yeah but Chuck we what you promised us is what was the shooter shooting and more important what was his scope.

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Right because that's what it comes down to because that's one of the things like where when we look at failure the biggest concern is how the hell was that roof not covered right.

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_03]: That that roof.

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying it was a guaranteed shot because honestly that guy took a pretty impressive shot if you know as accurate as it was right that took some skill and effort that's not 100% I don't know if you've ever been like deer hunting or whatever and I've talked about it on this show before but the first time I did it my heart's like pounding through my chest and I can tell you I've never tried to do it.

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I've never tried to assassinate somebody or assassinated somebody but I imagine your heart might be pounding through the rest of there's a lot of excitement and adrenaline at that moment especially when I just had a cop point in the gun at me and I know they're hot on my trail right that that adds like some intense pressure.

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_03]: But it would be very reasonable for the Secret Service to assume that pretty much anybody who shot deer has a good probability of making that shot from that distance.

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_03]: So it is a reasonable to say that needs to be covered.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_03]: There wasn't even like a police car in the lot with the lights on like over there.

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_03]: There was nothing to indicate like hey don't climb up on this roof that's but they didn't do nothing.

[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean that that's kind of embarrassing so it is it's very embarrassing.

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_03]: This kid this kid gets up there and he has a standard AR 15.

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_03]: This is not the actual weapon but this is what you can expect.

[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if it was tactical with you know OD green stuff.

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_03]: It probably wasn't a lot of guys don't do that but the big answer is what was his scope.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_03]: He had a red dot EO tech no magnification at all just a red dot and I got to say no magnification.

[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm certain so you're telling me that this guy does it with a red dot now.

[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I know that I shoot with a red dot and I hit 100 yard target with a 556 that is about 10 inches round.

[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_03]: But it would be very reasonable for me to miss it too.

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_03]: And for him to be that spot on he did pretty impressive you know effort there.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_03]: 50 yards.

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah about 130 is what they're saying is between 93 feet and yeah

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_01]: 393 feet and 492 feet which is a pretty big goddamn like you would think you'd be able to know a little bit more than 100.

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_03]: We don't have a rangefinder.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I think you can Google Earth and put a dot where Trump is and over to the other and get a more accurate diagnosis with that but yeah.

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Next I mean so.

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's concerning right that Secret Service didn't seem to scope it out as well as they should have there were some failures here there.

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Initially that Kimberly Cheetle had said that she had told everybody that oh the local police were in charge of securing the outer perimeter.

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_03]: So we had nothing to do with it and she sounded like a whiny child.

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Then I think somebody was like hey you're being an idiot.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_03]: You got to roll that back.

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_01]: So there's another thing over 100 yards away outside of the perimeter.

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean that's crazy.

[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_03]: So then later she walked it back and she was like well this was the Secret Services operation.

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And so the reporter is like so the buck stops with you and she's like yeah the buck stops with us.

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And like yeah we're in charge and they're like so are you going to resign.

[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_03]: No whoa whoa we're not doing any of that.

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean she used to be head of security for Pepsi before this.

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_03]: So you know I mean she keeps those soda cans safe.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_03]: And I mean I guess somebody's got to keep the secret recipe.

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_03]: That's maybe.

[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah the movie The Jerk with Steve Martin in it.

[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep.

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And then sniper shooting at him he's like yeah.

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_01]: That she she was that one too so.

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly I think she was in charge at that point.

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_03]: So that tracks.

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Now there was another rumor.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_03]: There was a lot about the why the delay with shooting the sniper and all that.

[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_03]: There was a Facebook post going around or I guess it was on Twitter like formerly acts right.

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_03]: So and this guy's like yeah I'm the sniper who took the shot and this kind of affirmed with why everybody thought the shooter was the guy on the roof with the tripod.

[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_03]: But turned out that was totally made up and just bullshit.

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_03]: That guy he didn't get fired he wasn't the guy I mean I would hope that somebody got fired in this operation.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_03]: But I don't think I don't think the sniper was the problem and those guys weren't the problem.

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_03]: So the deal is those guys I was started to touch on this earlier were rocking a 25 times magnification scope.

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And they're searching it was five to 25.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_03]: They're searching the outer perimeter right so you have to kind of like rethink wait where am I looking now and bring it back like I know 100 yards sounds like the outer perimeter but no these guys were looking out.

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_03]: And they they said I heard it on another interview where a guy had talked to the Secret Service and he said that the angle of the roof they actually didn't have a good shot of the shooter.

[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_03]: And so was somebody else in the same building area that he was that took the shot that was the Secret Service sniper team.

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_03]: And they took the shot and did get the headshot.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_03]: And I was told it was pretty impressive with the angles that you know things are right were pretty great.

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean they pulled it off.

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_03]: So as far as the sniper in the reaction time no problem we're not knocking any fault there where I see fall and obviously you know anybody can Monday morning quarterback right you know oh yeah you should have you should have done that you idiot you didn't see that guy sneaking around behind you.

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_03]: We all saw it on TV right right you know that's how things go and we all want to throw stones.

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think there was any problem with the snipers response that the Secret Service there.

[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_03]: My problem with the Secret Service is funds and resources of having enough people there.

[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_03]: They didn't scope it out early enough you know early on planning for the event.

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_03]: And two the bottom line you don't miss something as obvious as covering a building that close.

[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean if I look around well one if I'm scoping something like that in my mind there's no chance that that roof isn't going to be covered.

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_03]: So as a shooter I'm going to be like well that's not a choice and that's one of the things that a lot of the conspiracy theories are coming from is why did the guy even.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Think he would have a shot being able to get on that roof that close I mean that's insane.

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_03]: My second choice would probably be the trees and set up a hide in the trees.

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_03]: You can see right about where it says 130 yards somewhere up in there it would maybe be possible to set up in the trees but to me that would have also been covered in my mind.

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_03]: But I don't know I mean that's just insanity that we did not cover such an obvious like right there and to me that is an epic failure.

[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_03]: And then the stupid ass statements of we didn't get somebody on the roof because it was dangerous and they might have fallen off.

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the dumbest shit I've ever heard.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_01]: The roof they were on had the same slope if not steeper.

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.

[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Now there's another thing that that I wanted to talk into here is you know people say oh DEI hires or this is why we shouldn't have women doing you know equal jobs and whatever and I see a lot of stupid memes about that.

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_03]: And I got to say when everybody's jumping on the president and you're cowering it doesn't even appear that she has her gun out if she does it's not at the ready.

[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_03]: She's just like hiding behind the president going oh and what's ironic is she's actually on the side of the shooter.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_03]: So she's not even hiding behind him but she doesn't know that and that's that's concerning.

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_03]: So I do have she has this like horribly embarrassing holster draw that was just insane and trying to get her gun back in the holster is even more insane.

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_03]: And the thing is I didn't need the internet to tell me I was watching the video you know like I said right after it happened and I'm like oh my God look at that girl work her gun in the holster.

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_03]: And my wife's like why are you picking on women.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like that's insanity that girl cannot work her gun.
